The quality of our Compatible Label Tapes

Featured

Going for compatible Inks and Toners is a great way when you are looking for ways to reduce costs, but did you know that you could get compatible label tapes too?

Here at Premium Compatibles we do our best to provide the best quality non-branded products as possible. We always make sure to have all of our label tapes in stock, as we understand how important it may be for you.

Purchasing a compatible label tape means that you can print off a lot more for a reasonably cheap price. If you are looking to save some coin than I suggest you opt for the compatibles on our website instead of branded options on original websites. This will cost you more.

Labels will last if you manage to opt for high-graded suppliers. Our compatible label tapes will not degrade, rip or discolour, making them just as good as the originals. However, it is inevitable that sometimes label tapes will lose their adhesiveness and sometimes not stick on. This may be frustrating, especially when it is for something important such as folders or files. Nonetheless, label tapes are used for a variety of reasons like labelling folders, organizing your spice racks in your kitchen, or simply labelling important files.

The quality of a compatible label tape in comparison to an original label tape is not far off. The only difference you will find is probably over a certain period. What will usually happen over time is that the top layer of the label tape (the protective film) will start to come off. This will make the label deteriorate quicker. At Premium Compatibles we aim to provide the best valued products as possible but regardless of this we want our products to be of best quality also. We still want out label tapes to be of best standard and use. All of our suppliers are the best in quality and we know this because we use these products ourselves!

We have many customers that will say the same and vouch for us!

Just like Printer Ink and Toners, Label tapes also come as compatibles. It all comes down to what label is the best to use in terms of preference, size and colour. There are different types of label tapes to use. Laminated, shipping labels, Non-Laminated tapes, Fluorescent, adhesive, Iron on Fabric Tapes and many more. However, what are the most commonly used tapes?

Common Label Tape types

The most commonly used label tapes are laminated. Laminated tapes are made to stick on almost any surface. Laminated label tapes are also water resistant making it much more efficient with spills. Their durable in hot or cold conditions and are designed to endure and scratches. Fortunately, brands such as Brother, have specifically designed label tapes to withstand any chemical damages, as their aim is to take a much more scientific approach with their labels.

Brother Label Tapes

Non-Laminated label tapes are obviously much different from laminated tapes. Although there are some similarities such as the range of colours and the general indoor use, Non-Laminated tapes do not have the ability to withstand different temperatures or spills.

How to choose the perfect Label Tapes

When it comes down to labels, it will always come down to size and colour. Nevertheless, it is important to understand how the tapes are made. The tapes are put into layers, starting with the Ink on the top and separator on the bottom.

Now that you understand the gist of how label tapes work, let us discuss what they are used for; Label tapes are often used by brands to warn others, show ingredients or instruct their audiences as a part of their packaging. These labels can be used to produce shipping labels, water bottle labels, food labels etc.

What are the best labels to use and why?

A test was performed between two of the same types of tapes but with different brands. One being, ‘Dymo’ and the other being ‘Brother’. The test was a dishwasher test where both labels were placed inside a dishwasher to test their durability against temperature and water. Prior to the cycle ending, it was clear that brother had a better chance of success as the Dymo Label Tape had peeled off.

What is the difference between ‘TZ’ and ‘TZe’ Brother Tapes?

According to Brother, TZe is just a way of saying that these kinds of tapes are more environmentally friendly. The plastic weight is reduced by 15%, has smaller packaging, and is energy efficient.
